Welcome to The Duet Project |: Sustaining the Sweet Notes of Life. Our mission is to provide music therapy scholarships for children and adults with disabilities, by connecting donors with the families who are providing care. Through our partnerships with Intentional Legacy and Therabeat, Inc. The Duet Project creates an opportunity for anyone with a willing heart - especially those outside of the disability community - to provide valuable resources and support for these families. Music therapy within a professional therapeutic context has been shown to yield numerous benefits not just to mood and confidence but gross motor abilities like balance, coordination, and gait, fine motor abilities, speech articulation, as well as memory recall and other cognitive abilities. What an exciting opportunity to give the gift of music & impact a life!
